# User-selected phone feed

The feed contains only the eight posts requested by the user. All 100 former Island recordings and their posters have been removed from the current source/build and remain in deployment rollback history.

Videos, sound and comment images are bundled locally; the phone does not need social-platform login. Third-party authors retain their attribution. Public comments are imported snapshots for their exact source post, not fictional NPC comments. The first public TikTok comment page and public Instagram comments are included, with original display names, dates, like counts and image comments. Comments from the user’s screenshot belong to the 2 Phones edit. The other uploaded clip has no source link, so no original comments are invented. Original reply counts are shown for context, but reply bodies were not imported. Player-written comments remain local to the game save.

Sources, imported comments and media hashes are recorded in capture-manifest.json and phone-tiktok-state.js. Future user-supplied post imports should also include available original comments and their images, preserving post identity; never fall back to generic comments. Display names are real comment names; fallback avatar illustrations are game artwork.
